  1. Hey guys! I also got a call for an interview at St Josephs. So excited to find this thread. I have been trying to find more info. Where are you guys coming from? I just got a call for an interview at St Josephs Hospital in Eureka. I am wondering if any of you also got a call and or have any information about the interview process. I am not local to the area so my resources to prepare are limited. All I found is something on google that said it would be a panel style interview with nurse managers from several department. Thanks in advance for any insight you can provide!
  2. Can anyone recommend a great place to get BLS certification in the East Bay Area. TIA!! :)
  3. I am wondering if anyone that has taken the TEAS test(and done well) is interested in making some money tutoring. I took it once and will be taking it again in a couple of weeks to improve my score. I am in the Bay Area. Thanks!
  4. Hi AxiLong, You were nice to reply to me awhile back, and if I remember correctly you got accepted to SMU, right? I have a question. I am going to take the TEAS in a couple of weeks, and I am wondering how long I need to wait in between to take it again. I hear different schools have different policies? Thanks so much!

  9. Hi everyone, I am not usually this inept on a website, but I have looked at BOTH the fact sheet and general nursing site and cannot tell when the school year starts for BSN students at SFSU. I see that the app period is Aug to Nov. Thanks so much for any insight!

  11. Did anyone take a stats class online that they would recommend? Thank you!

  14. Hello everyone, I am applying to ABSN and ELMSN for Summer 2014. I would also like to volunteer at an Oakland/ Berkeley hospital or clinic. I was hoping someone could share experiences both good and bad, regarding volunteer locales.Thank you so much!
  15. Hi everyone, I am in the process of preparing for application to the ABSN and ELMSN program. I would really like to volunteer my time, preferably in Berkeley or Oakland. I have looked at a lot of clinics, mostly in SF, based on what my advisor told me. HOwever, my heart belongs in Oakland, and I want to go to SMU...So my question is, which hospital is a good one to apply to? The thing I have learned in the last couple of months is that applying can be time consuming, so I'm really trying to narrow it down. Thanks in advance for your advice and tips!
