"We received more qualified applications than we have space for in the BSN program during the academic year 2012-2013. You have therefore been placed on the wait list for admission and rank number 70 of 115.

Although you have been placed on the wait list, you may be admitted to the University into your selected alternate major for fall 2012. Our wait list will remain active until January 2013. We will contact you if a space becomes available for you. Kindly complete the Wait List Response form and ensure that your contact information remains current with the University and the School of Nursing.

If you have outstanding prerequisite course work, please be advised that official transcripts verifying completion with a minimum grade of C must be received by the SF State Office of Undergraduate Admissions no later than July 6, 2012. This is required to maintain your wait list status.

In the event a space does not become available, dedicated, eligible students are encouraged to reapply during next application period.

I doubt that I'll get in though. I am still waiting on CSUEB though, but I doubt that too. They seemed more focused on points.

I'm thankful that at least I am in a nursing program, USF, my head is currently spinning on the thought of the amount I'll be owing by the time I am done..

hi I'm new to all nurses. I am an applicant for 2012/13 sfsu on campus ban. I was just notified I am number 45 of 115. the e-mail from sfsu indicated they had no way of keeping us informed of how many people are being admitted from the wait list, so i figured joining this thread might help keep me in the loop. its terribly frustrating waiting and waiting just to hear you will need to wait some more! does anyone have any idea of how many wait listed have been admitted in years past? thaaaanks.

Hi Everyone!

I have been anxiously following this thread for a while, but this is my first time leaving a comment. I Just got an email saying that I am on the wait list...19 of 115. I am not sure if I should be happy or not. Ahhh...the torturous wait continues! Congratulations to all of those who have been accepted...it is a huge accomplishment!!

@ Avill I am assuming you'd start spring, since you would be going in fall 2012 with your alternate major. That's what the spring admits have to do also, which to me is a little unfair! In my opinion it will be a waste of money for housing/ tuition for classes I don't really need. I am still SO grateful and happy I got in the program, but it's a bummer that I can't start fall.

yeah, but at least you got into a program. I don't much mind the wait if I was on the top, but I am not, so I am going to have to deny to be on the wait list.

I got waitlisted again and a lower number then last year.. thank god I have a backup.

Last year for 2011 SFSU accepted up to number 24 on the waitlist.

I was number 25 last year

Just received a letter in the mail. I've been put in the wait list, but it doesn't tell me in what place out of the 115. Probably because I'm closer to 115:no:. Anyways good luck to rest of you

That looks like the pattern now!!! Ahhh!!! I'm wait listed number 38! :icon_roll More agony and now undecided if I should stay on the list or not... SevenofNine I think you should keep working on that scarf
