SFSU ELM-A Spring 2016

Hello everyone!

I am new to this site and this is my first ever post! Woo hoo!

I am currently in the process of applying to SFSU's Accelerated Entry Level Masters program for Spring 2016. Is there anyone else out there applying? This is such an exciting and stressful time!

Hi all,

i am getting as prepared as possible for the program. It looks from the materials I have received that we get e-books from SFSU and they cost $1200. Does anyone know of any cost-saving routes for our required materials? What about scholarships? Is there any database that is better then another (aside from SFSU specific awards)?

three questions:

Just curious if any one has been able to down load their books yet?

Does anyone know when the break between spring and summer session is?

Also curious if people are continuing to work during the academic year?

Hey Tija:

I can't answer your first question, as I haven't tried yet. But the schedules for spring and summer 2016 are available online here: Academic Calendar - San Francisco State University

Finals are May 18-25, 2016. Summer semester starts on June 6, 2016.

Hi there,

I have another question for the group: Have you noticed that the class times on the registrar are different then the times listed on the excel document that SFSU sent to us in December? Unfortunately I used that ELM-A class schedule grid to notify my work of my availability and now it proves to have changed.

Has anyone else noticed this or have advice about the class schedule?

I am applying as well! I am still finishing up my personal statement. What specialty are you all applying to? I am going to go for peds. Did anyone go to the information session? Unfortunately I could not make it because of work, but would love to hear some of the things covered if anyone is willing to share!
