Does anyone have any ideas when we will hear back in regards to being invited for an interview? Because this is a new program there is no thread from last year I can refer to for those dates.

... Waiting it should be sometime this week (Oct 26th) hopefully soon because it's less than two weeks to prepare for an interview. I applied for the adult acute care speciality. Knowing SFSU we should get responses randomly Thursday midday, I'm just guessing lol. Good luck everyone!!

I applied for the Women's Health specialty, no interview invite yet although SFSU did say invites would go out the week of Oct26?... Let's try to support and keep each other informed since this is a very tough waiting period. Good Luck to everyone who is waiting!

I speculate í ¾í´“, that they will tell us on Friday. I read the fall 2015 forum and many people received their decisions on a Friday. Also my husband told me that they would tell us on a Friday so the admissions office wouldn't get bombarded with emails during the week with questions... That appeased me somewhat and hopefully it eases others to know.

Hello all,

I was also invited for an interview on the 11th. Does anyone have any experience with msn interviews? I am not sure what type of questions they will be asking. Also, does anyone know how many people applied in total?

I got an interview as well! For november 9th. I too am not sure how to prepare, this will be my first school interview ever. Any wisdom is appreciated!

Hi! New to this site as of today, thanks for starting this thread. I got an invite for an interview too. This is the first time they are offering this program so its hard to know what to expect! But the email said that the interview was 20 minutes long, so I don't think that anything more than the standard nursing school interview questions can be asked. I hope it goes well for all of us :)

I wasn't able to make it to the information sessions due to my job, and I feel silly asking this question, but this program starts in January, correct? The nursing roadmap on their site says that the first semester offers Fall courses only, but I called their office and they said January, so I'm a little confused. I wish they had dates on when the courses start and end on their roadmap, it would be very helpful.

Yes the program starts in January, and it is a 2-year, year-round program. Hope that helps!
