Hi! I'm applying for the SFSU BSN program in spring 2018. I haven't seen a thread for this so I was wondering if anyone here was applying to the program as well. If you could give a bio of yourself or your stats that would be helpful! Nice to meet you all!

Okay haha thank you! That makes me feel a little better! Did the nursing department email you regarding admissions decisions last term? Or did the email come from regular admissions.

My email came directly from the school of nursing, I received a different email from the admissions about acceptance into my alternate major!

Per the email, we have to wait for an acceptance from the Admissions dept. I am enrolling for 2nd Baccalaureate so mine will come from the Graduate School admissions. I have not received it yet.

Have any of you received acceptance letters from the Admissions dept?

If you check your sfsu student portal and you look at the bottom and the major changed from nursing to your alternate major it means you didn't get admitted. I did not receive an email and my major switched to my alternate major. As a result, that means I was rejected but congrats to everyone that got in!! I am so happy for all of you :)

I don't think that's how it works, because last time I applied I was put on the waitlist and still admitted under my alternate major. And they would have sent an email of rejection too. I would wait until we get an email to make that conclusion
