SFSU BSN spring 2018

Hi! I'm applying for the SFSU BSN program in spring 2018. I haven't seen a thread for this so I was wondering if anyone here was applying to the program as well. If you could give a bio of yourself or your stats that would be helpful! Nice to meet you all!

Thanks, guys. I was getting worried since I haven't heard anything yet and on the paper where they gave us the interview instructions, it said they'll start sending out word starting on the 15th.

In the interview, we were told we will hear back on Thanksgiving week....most likely by Wednesday...am keeping my fingers crossed.

I have not gotten 1 as well. Emailed SFSU Sch. of Nursing. Got an automatic reply saying the sch is closed beginning today till Sunday. Don't know if I should still be hopeful?

I think you gotta be hopeful until given a reason not to be. There is still some time left in the day. Check you application status on the schools website. Mine changed and had and accept/decline option that had not been there before. That happened before I got the email.

I wonder if they sent out acceptance emails all at once? I called undergraduate admissions and spoke to a lady and she said if I haven't heard yet, then I was not selected... Not sure if this was correct information though. Makes it hard to stay hopeful...

I am assuming that's for the school for the alternate major because I got an email today about being accepted into the school, but no word about the nursing school yet. I am staying hopeful because when I applied last term they sent out emails for individuals both accepted, not accepted and put on a waitlist. I got my email around 5 pm last time I applied!

Okay that makes sense. It's very hard to get a definite answer, especially since school of nursing is now closed this week. I keep hearing different answers from undergraduate admissions.

do NOT listen to undergrad admissions, I don't think they know how School of Nursing works. From my experience in the past I have only listened to the nursing department. We should definitely hear back by the end of the day today if today is the last day the office is open. They even said they would send out admissions this week so I am holding them accountable to that. Keep your guys' heads up, its scary and I feel the same pain, but keep those hopes up!!!

I applied for 2nd Baccalaureate. So I do not have any acceptance email yet as I did not have to choose an alternative major. Hopefully we get something soon. Getting no response at all is nerve-wrecking.
