Hello, I created this post to see the overall applicant pool applying on Fall 2013 for the academic year 2014-2015. I wanted to open a new thread for those of you who are planning to apply to the BSN prelincensure program to SFSU, to share additional information, support each other, and to see how fierce the competition will be for this upcoming academic year.

I haven't finished all of the requirements but when I do I'll update it.

Prereq GPA: 3.44 (still need physio lab and anatomy)
TEAS V Score: N/A (still in progress)
Supplemental Criteria: over 100 hours at SFGH (multi-cultural/health-related work), 3 semesters of Spanish (bilingual), and letter of recommendation (if applicable).

When did you hear from SDSU? Did you get an email?
Last week. I received a phone call, and then an email. If you applied to sdsu you can check your webportal. I believe admission decisions are on there already. Deadline to submit your intent to enroll is May 1st.
I applied to the SFSU BSN program at Canada College with Sequoia hospital and our decisions are supposed to go out by May 9th. I just emailed and that's what I got back. Ours were supposed to go out next week like yours but now the wait continues.....sigh
Do any of you know if it is true that SF STATE cut out the preceptor program as part of their curriculum? I forgot where I had right now but I remember reading it and how they also cut it from 3 years to 2years. Thanks!
Am I the only one who has not been accepted to the actual university itself yet? I haven't received any updates regarding my status with SFSU. I submitted all my transcripts before the deadline so I'm not sure what is going on. Online it just says that my application is "complete." I can't submit an intent to enroll until I'm actually accepted... -_-

I was told my sac state that you can intend to enroll in multiple schools in case you haven't heard back from the program that you want to go to!
