Hello, I created this post to see the overall applicant pool applying on Fall 2013 for the academic year 2014-2015. I wanted to open a new thread for those of you who are planning to apply to the BSN prelincensure program to SFSU, to share additional information, support each other, and to see how fierce the competition will be for this upcoming academic year.

Prereq GPA: 3.44 (still need physio lab and anatomy)
TEAS V Score: N/A (still in progress)
Supplemental Criteria: over 100 hours at SFGH (multi-cultural/health-related work), 3 semesters of Spanish (bilingual), and letter of recommendation (if applicable).

So I called the office today and they said they have no record of my application!!! Basically I can't do **** and have to wait to apply next year:madface:. I'm soo mad and frustrated. Uuugghhh

You should have some kind of record or something that you applied I think I remember they email you something? Did you ever receive an email from them after you applied
Okay everyone, today my status on the SFSU student portal changed to admitted! And I got an email letting me know I was admitted, (contingent upon completing my current classes). So I quickly clicked "accept admission" before anything could disappear before my eyes…. In the email they stated that I should receive an orientation/info packet by a week from now. I think what got the ball rolling is that I called the financial aid office last week and they told me they'd have my info processed in a week's time. Not sure though, I'm just glad my position is getting more and more concrete!
I'm in for the fall sfsu/sequoia program. I went back to my portal and now it says "complete" again.... But whatever. At least I got the email? I'm going to chalk that up as something that doesn't matter because I've already hit "accept offer". We'll see...how weird.

Yes I have the email thanking me for my application. The reason I called them was because I had not heard anything from them. I'm going to try and get a hold of someone who has more authority than the young lady I spoke with. She really had no idea how to answer my questions. It's frustrating, I don't want to wait a freaking year to get into a nursing program. Uugghh now I'm just waiting to hear from CSUEB
My portal changed to accepted today but once I hit accept offer when I went back to my portal it just said "complete" again. I'm calling at 10 to make sure the acceptance went through.
So, according to an email I just got from the impacted major coordinator, we should be receiving an "admission determination this month". Now we wait some more!
Hey Megan, I am interested in applying to the sfsu nursing program as for fall 2015. Let me say Congratulation for making it on the waitlist. I was hoping you could please tell me your stats? I just wanted to compare it to mine to see how well Ill fare in comparison. Thanks for your time and looking forward to hearing from you
