Hello, I created this post to see the overall applicant pool applying on Fall 2013 for the academic year 2014-2015. I wanted to open a new thread for those of you who are planning to apply to the BSN prelincensure program to SFSU, to share additional information, support each other, and to see how fierce the competition will be for this upcoming academic year.

Prereq GPA: 3.44 (still need physio lab and anatomy)
TEAS V Score: N/A (still in progress)
Supplemental Criteria: over 100 hours at SFGH (multi-cultural/health-related work), 3 semesters of Spanish (bilingual), and letter of recommendation (if applicable).

Has anyone who's been accepted into the Sequoia BSN program for fall heard back from SFSU yet? The wait is killing me. I called this morning and they said they have no definitive answer for when I will hear back by.

i also got accepted for the Sequoia BSN program for fall 2014. My sfsu application status changed to admitted but after I accepted, it changed to incomplete. I called the undergrad department and they said its most likely because I have to turn in transcripts for the class I took this semester. Is there already a facebook group made? I'm excited to start and meet everyone. I live in Sacramento and am also looking for a place and people to move in with.
Hi Julia ! Congrats and can't wait to see you at orientation! Mine just says complete and not admitted yet, weird but I know I'm in, I just sent my letter of intent. My financial aid award still hasn't come which is a bit frustrating, the CEL awards aren't ready yet. I was thinking about starting a fbook group for SFSU/Sequoia cohort 11 as I saw cohort 10 has one up and I thought it would be a good idea. I can't believe they had the wrong name!! Glad you got it settled though :-)
Hey Jhansan, congrats on getting accepted! I guess we'll just have to wait and see on the application status issue. I'm sure it'll change once we get our transcripts in. Has anyone had their status changed from "complete" to "accepted" on their portal? I keep calling undergraduate admissions and am being told different answers about when I should know if I'm definitely in.

I got in for Fall 2014. I called last week and they said I would here that Friday. I called again today and the woman I spoke to transferred me to another woman named Valeri, I left a message on her machine. I wish they would let us know what's going on.
So I called the office today and they said they have no record of my application!!! Basically I can't do **** and have to wait to apply next year:madface:. I'm soo mad and frustrated. Uuugghhh
