SFSU ABSN 2022

Hello! I haven't seen a thread for sfsu's ABSN 2022 yet so figured I start one.

Can someone please clarify if we need to do the supplemental application on nursingcas? It says that its due on Jan. 15th, but when I reached out to sfsu's nursing department, they told me it is not needed. Have others heard the same as well?

Looking forward to responses! ?

Does anyone know what day or week the program starts? Some time for sure in Summer though right?

I'm pretty sure it starts Tuesday, May 31st. I recall reading it somewhere on their ABSN webpage

WOW really! That is so soon!

I thought it started in June for some reason but I can't remember where I saw that.

I thought I remembered seeing something about a June start as well. I wish their webpage had more information about their timeline!

Did anyone apply to other schools/hear back from schools they’ve applied to?

I’m pretty sure I asked and it started June 1st. I could be wrong though. 

I have been accepted at CSUSM. I got denied from CSULB. I am waiting to hear from SFSU, CSULA, and Concordia in Irvine. SFSU is my top choice, though!

How about everyone else?

You might be right! Of course when I'm looking now I can't find where I thought it said May 31st. 

I was accepted to CSUSM and started doing the Complio stuff, but SF State is my top choice too! 

I really hope after all this waiting we get some good news ?

Yep, same. I accepted and am starting the process with CSUSM but definitely waiting for SFSU or other 15 month programs to get back to me first! They told me decisions come out in April so hopefully it is beginning of April

Congrats to everyone who got accepted to CSUSM!!
 

SFSU was my first application and my top choice. I am finishing up my application for Samuel Merritt this week as well.

I can confirm it starts May 31 per an email from admissions counselor!
