Good luck to us all!

I guess mostly because SFSU is such a big school that doesn't seem to have as much resources as SMU does for its nursing program. And it seems like SMU has more people working to try and help you succeed. Although honestly I don't know as much about SFSU as I do about SMU because SFSU does not put out as much information, and I was never able to visit due to coronavirus. I believe that class sizes are smaller at SMU as well.

Congratulations to everyone & good luck waitlisters!
I am number 4 on the waitlist and really want to get in ... thank you

From what I've read and heard, it's better to go to SFSU because it's easier to get a job after graduating than it is with SMU on your resume, especially in the Bay. It's so difficult to get into SFSU compared to SMU so people have a high respect for SFSU BSN grads. Also the cohort is very small at SFSU compared to SMU and the school in general isn't that large. And the clinical options are awesome because of all the hospitals within SF.
