Hi! Have you heard anything back yet, Monica?

nope, haven’t heard anything yet from sf. but I got an acceptance from Johns Hopkins for their masters program, which is my first and only acceptance so I’ll more than likely go there. I’m not sure when we should be hearing back from sf though

That’s awesome! Congratulations!

thank you! I’m super excited ? good luck on your journey!

Does anyone know when they send their acceptances out?

Hi guys! I am so glad there is a thread about this program. I haven't heard anything from the school yet so I emailed them and this is what they said:

I was also wondering if you guys would like to share your stats? here is mine : GPA: 3.84; TEAS: 89.3%. My stats are pretty low so I am even more nervous and anxious. Hopefully those emails get sent out soon.

and thank you for creating this thread by the way ?

Thanks for passing along the info!

GPA 4.0, TEAS 93.6, 6k hours healthcare-related work experience, 0 repeats.

Don’t be discouraged by your stats, they’re good! I’ve applied to SFSU before and some with lower stats got called back for an interview. Myself and another person with similar stats did not.

Thanks for posting the email! Personally my stats are pretty iffy. My prerequisite GPA is 4.0 with no repeats, but my overall GPA is variable. If they accept the academic renewal (and official GPA according to my college) then my GPA is 4.0, but if not it's something awful like 3.2 hahaha (and what NursingCAS reports). My TEAS is 92% and I have over 1000 healthcare hours.

I wonder if anyone has gotten an interview invitation yet?

Did you have the same stats as you do now when you applied last time or was it different?

From the last year thread, I saw that most of them got their invitation on Oct 11 so I am thinking ours will be out around then too.

and wow both of you have such high stats. It making me more nervous LOL. I also have over 2000 healthcare hours but I don't think that is even good enough

Exactly the same. I’m actually in an ADN program now. Our Spring semester was canceled and we’re repeating it this Fall. With all the fires in my county and clinical site cancelations, I’m applying here as back up.

It’s honestly a toss up with SFSU and everything is fair game as long as you’re over 3.7... from what I gathered from previous forums.
