September 2008 support group!

Hi everyone..

I just scheduled my exam awhile ago and finally taking it this September 15, 2008.

I was looking for the September 2008 Support Group and found their is none in existence so i figured to start one.

I am currently on Saunder's 4th Ed. and some other references like, Exam Cram, Illustrated Study Guide for the NCLEX-RN Exam, Prioritization, Delegation Assignment by Linda LaCharity and other Q and A books by Saunder's and Mosby.

But i am focusing more on Saunder's, i just like to have other references to understand topics which i am weak in.

I wasn't a very good student before or wasn't that much focus with my studies while in school. That's why i am very anxious now with my upcoming exam.

Now I am giving my best in my review and hoping and praying that i may pass it on the first try.

I really want and dreampt of becoming an RN and finally i am a test closer to becoming one.

Hey zaylee, sorry to hear the news..it's really great to see that you're keeping a positive attitude!! That's the only way to go. I rescheduled my test for October. I'm just not confident yet, I've been mastering pharmacology since I found that to be my weak area. Regardless, goodluck to the September group!! You guys can do it!! HI Guys. I took NCLEX last 19. It was indeed horrible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I finished at 75 at 1.10 hours. I had 15 SATA and about 7 meds question. I'm worried cuz my last three qusetion were easy? Does it have any indication. As of know I have only 1 question that I answered thats confirmed wrong by me. Ill keep you posted. I'll have my suggestions to you later. Thanks. Keep me in ur prayers. Hi everyone and I can't believe I finally get to say this but I PASSED!! I think I am still in shock right now because I have been working so hard for this!!! It was my third time taking it and I believe it was the LORD that helped me through all this! I must have prayed 50 times throughout the test whenever I came to a question I had trouble with I would say a little prayer and read the question again!! It has been a tuff road for me but I want you all to know YOU CAN DO IT!! Just believe!! I first did Kaplan the first two times but failed with it and this time I studied the Saunders book!! But I do want to say I would have never got this far without this support group and all you nurses giving me confidence and advice Thank you sooooo MUCH!!:redbeathe I recieved 125 questions with one drug calc, maybe 10-13 meds and 7-10 SATA. I LOVE you all and this is the HAPPIEST DAY OF MY LIFE!!

I took my exam like two hours ago.

It shut off at 75.

I wish I knew my results.

At first, I thought, ok, I passed, but now that I am worried thinking about all the ones I got wrong.

I got like 3-4 med calculation problems, about 10 SATA, a lot of prioritization, infection control, yadda yadda yadda.

UGHH.

I also had A LOT of medications. A lot of them I didn't know, or they looked familiar, but I still didn't know the answer, so I did some guessing.

i took the exam last thurs.it ended at 75.i have 5 satas,3 computations,2 drag and drop.the rest were corhorting,infection control and knowledge based questions.hope that i passed..
