hi there

any September NCLEX-RN test takers out there?

I graduated from a nursing school in the Philippines a year ago, needed to work first to pay the fees for taking the NCLEX-RN. Now that I have my Authorization to test I plan to take the exam late September here in NY. I really need to pass the exam cause I'm really broke now :crying2:

I'm taking the Kaplan On Demand, Saunders 5th Edition, La charity and Ohman

Any suggestions and tips?

sunrise_tx which center are you going? today started one in austin... i am not sure i can manage sooo much info and i am concerned that is more than i can take~ :-/

kaplan has a lot for me, i have waiting lacharity and saundrers... how do you do it!!!???

hello, fmatoz&backagain, just done with my review i did the august 9-12 review at austin. :) it was very helpful. :) i would say it helped me a lot. the core content discussion was very helpful but i would say that from the review, i have learned to manage my overwhelming anxiety, it helped me understand nclex as a whole. :) you see this exam is really getting into my head, way overboard... and the anxiety is too much where it's not helping anymore. twas good i took this review because it brought me back into my senses, see the exam in a different way. :) right now... just taking my time reviewing and going over the 5th day material. :) all i can say, know your core content. and as for me, i always ask for the lord's guidance... and just pray that everything will fall into its right place. :)

Just got my new ATT today:yeah: and scheduled my test for Sept 28th at 12:30pm:yeah:.......that gives me 46 more days to prepare.....fingers crossed this next month + goes swimmingly....:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe:redbeathe

hi kcdunlap.. just wanna ask how to schedule an exam in the afternoon, like yours! cuz i went to pearson schedule site its all morning, just wondering if i can do an afternoon this time.. and good luck for your upcoming date.. Just Believe in Him.. Thanks :))

My guess is that maybe different sites have the ability to offer different times. Mine offer 8am and 12:30 I think.

Hello everybody

I am also studying for the Nclex RN... I am planning to take it in September

I am using 1)Saunders Comprehensive Review 4th Edition, 2) Exam Cram (The book that Only has Practice Questions) And 3) Lacharity book....

But I have a Question: Does anyone know to study for the Nclex RN you need to do from Lacharity book Only the 18 Chapters or The 18 Chapters plus The 21 Cases Study ???????????????

i failed on first attempt due to lack of knowledge on content and extreme "puyat" the day of my exam.. i took in makati pearson office last month..

i'm retaking on november and reading saunders 5th edition, lacharity pda, kaplan blue book 2011 edition..next month i'm planning on availing Kaplan Qbank because a lot of nclex passers say those are good review materials..

I'm scheduled to take on September 28th but I'm feeling a little overwhelmed that the date is only 32 days away. I'm going to take it one day at a time but I'm feeling stressed that i just won't be prepared enough. I read stuff and then it shows up on a question I'm doing a few hours later and I can't remember...ahhhh!!

hi guys.its nice to meet u here. im also from the philippines. i graduated last year and passed my local board July 2010. i just took my RN nclex in california last september 2. im still nervous until now and those questions are still fresh. i tried the PVT and showed the good pop-up, hopefully it will work out for me. good luck in our career
