September 2011 CHLA RN Residency Program

I had my interview today :) We will be hearing in about 3 weeks about job positions! I also heard that CHLA will be hiring about 40-50 new grads, including external and internal candidates. YAY FOR US. Fingers crossed!

How do you feel about your interview? Was it with three HR employees? Mine was last week, and it was with the manager of the Versant program and two other HR employees. They were all really nice and I feel good about the interview. The waiting is torture though! I was told that I would hear back regarding a second interview by the middle of June... I want this job sooooo badly! I got such a good feeling from all three women, and CHLA seems like a really great place to work!

Anyhow, keeping my fingers crossed for everyone who interviewed!!! :redpinkhe

The interview went pretty great!!!! There weren't any questions I stumped on. I felt prepared for the interview questions. I was asked about what I know about the Versant program and the 2 year commitment, etc. I have done clinicals at CHLA for 2 rotations and really love it so I hope I can work here as an RN. What are all your unit choices??? Good luck to us all :)

i was told that tomorrow is the last day for HR interviews and that we will find out next week whether or not we get a manager's interview! good luck everyone

So we definitely have to interview with the managers after interviewing with HR? There's no chance it's just one interview?

I heard the HR interview was definitely one of two interviews. In the past some units have had 3 interviews but it sounds like there are only two this year?

They will be letting people know by the week of the 20th whether or not you get the job, which would be after the managers' interview. I believe the interviews are already going on and will continue til next week...

Not sure if they are still making calls to schedule interviews but good luck!
