Seneca College RPN

World Canada CA Programs

Published

Hi everyone,

I've been accepted to practical nursing at Seneca College and I'm super excited!

I'm finding trouble getting information about the program in terms of the facilities, teachers, etc. I've heard some negative comments but I would really appreciate anyone who has been in the RPN program there to give some input :)

Hi, I am going Seneca yorkgate for PN full time this jan 2018. I am quite surprised with the course load and like 5 semesters instead of 4. I am quite nervous if I really made the best decision accepting for Seneca. Any guidance or info abt the courses and placements as I am commuting an hour to get to campus. So wondering abt the placements.

Thank you in advance.

Have you looked at the College of Nurses of Ontario's (CNO) list of approved programs? Seneca is 'approved with conditions' the conditions will be reassessed in 2019, if at that time the CNO does not approve the program, they will not allow the grads to become registered.

did they finish with the reassessment?

Probably did, you can check the CNO website for approved programs to make sure.

yes they did, just waiting for the CNO website to be updated, last group pass rate was at 100%. Highest of all the colleges

Hi guys,

Any update on this? I don’t see any update on CNO website.

the 2018 report came out by the college status has not been updated. I Called and was told they go back to category 1 when its updated later this summer

Ahhh that’s fantastic!!!
