Hi Everyone!
I'm starting this topic for those who are applying to 2nd-entry programs, to start in 2014.
A bit about myself:
I'll be applying to University of Ottawa and University of Toronto.
Graduated with a Social Science degree from Ottawa U w/ 7.2 CGPA (aka 3.33 on 4.0 scale, or a B+)
A lot of community involvement in health promotion, youth counseling programs, women's health research..
Currently taking the prerequisites...
I'm kind of nervous about the applications because I know how competitive these programs are... Any advice from current 2-year BScN students would be great!
Let's get this thread going
@ShayLynn27 Yes, I received an e-mail from the faculty of Health Sciences. The e-mail says thank you for your confirmation. But I'm an internal applicant, so I don't know if it works like that for you.
Waiting patiently. I don't understand how an unnumbered waitlist works though. Do you have any idea ?

No idea :S. I'm an internal applicant too and I still haven't heard from them... So weird. Maybe I will go speak to them today.
@ShayLynn27 by internal applicant I mean that I'm studying in one of the program that is offered by the faculty of Health Sciences.
When I applied, I filled out a form and gave it directly to the faculty of Health Sciences.
The confirmation e-mail that I received was sent directly by the academic advisor of nursing program.
On my Infoweb, it doesn't show anything.
Where did you send your e-mail, by the way.
I applied to Queen's and UWO but haven't received an offer from either of them. From this forum I see that other people have, so I'm assuming I wasn't in on the first round and must now keep my fingers crossed for the next smaller rounds. I also applied to UofT but they said they would start sending offers in April and no-one has posted here about an offer so far. Crazy days!

Oh ok, I see. I sent it to [email protected].
I recieved this is an email from UWO when I sent in an application inqury:
"The first group of offers for the Compressed program was sent out early March. We will continue with a few small rounds between now and May, with our final and largest round of offers being made at the end of May. At this time we cannot tell you if or when an offer will be made, as it depends on the academic strength of the applicant pool. You can accept another offer from another institution if you have one and still be fully considered for Western. Please note that some institutions may charge deposits, and if you are granted admission and accept an offer to another institution afterwards, that deposit may not be refundable. We will email you when an admission's decision is available for viewing on your student.uwo.ca account.
Thank you again for writing."

Not yet. Just a message on my infoweb that my position on the waiting list has been revised. Doesn't say anything other than that... I've responded to email telling them I would like to remain on the waiting list, but it doesn't show on infoweb that they've received my email... I sent the email twice :S. Did you get any response when you sent the email??
