  1. Oh, I heard you get the message before you process the payment. My bad!
  2. Thanks, this stress is crazy haha When I first got home I tried it (about 50 min - 1 hour after the NCLEX), I typed in my credit card info and went to the next page. All I got was "This transaction is not complete until you hit Submit", I never hit Submit though. That's the only thing that it said in big red letters. Not sure what that means?
  3. I legit just finished it though like 45 min ago so do I need to wait 24 hours?! Someone calm me down haha
  4. I just wrote it, shut off at 165. I'm freaking out. No idea how I did, I feel like I knew or could rationalize most of the answers, didn't really have to just flat out guess on too many. I don't know what a "Good Pop up" means
  5. Just got an email about the Orientation. Sept 2 at 10am
  6. I've heard mixed things about registering for classes, for our Prep Semester. Has anyone heard any updated info??
  7. fueledbyju, I had a similar issue with Humber and their second entry program. I had to argue with the college for myself. They said that I didn't have the High school English pre-req, because based on my high school transcripts from over ten years ago I didn't satisfy the grades. I responded with "I have two diplomas, two degrees, and have been a high school TEACHER for five years....are you honestly telling me that I don't satisfy the English requirements?". So I got into Humber! Just call them on it, and argue your point!
  8. Thanks A LOT! That is all really good information for us. I agree with you on a lot of that. I've been to different unis and they all seem the same, disorganized and annoying. It's all about that piece of paper at the end, though hearing that we will have the opportunity for good placements will definitely help. My cousin did the four year program at Humber and she was saying the same thing, pretty disorganized but if you get good placements it'll all make up for it. Also, my brother's friend is doing her last year at Trent in the compressed program and she has barely learned anything, like can't even stick needles yet or learn any basic IV drills. Sad for being her last year! My brother is in his last year at York for Nursing and he said some of his classmates had to argue their way into even having a placement, and were about to get screwed over by the school. Have you heard anything like that happen at Humber? Just worried that the disorganization will seriously affect someone.
  9. I'm taking all, except for Stats (got exempt from that)
  10. I get sick of seeing 'fees' at schools. Which is a runaround way of them trying to get more money out of students.
  11. Thanks Anna. Forgot about the health insurance!
  12. I actually appreciate this thread. I'm not a superficial person, but do believe you need to look good when you're at work...especially in a professional setting like a hospital. I've seen way too many guys wearing cheap and boxy off-the-rack suits and they look terrible. So don't see anything wrong with a guy who wants to look better in scrubs. I don't know if getting them fully tailored is the way to go, just try all the brands and find something that you're happy with.
  13. Has anyone gotten any updated information on tuition?
  14. HoneyBee, I did a tour last year. It was pretty good :) The facilities seem pretty awesome, and the prac lab is great. I've always heard Humber has good resources for Nursing students to use. I think that's really key, as practical skills are a huge component of Nursing/Med
  15. I moved into a place right behind Humber. Going to take some adjusting to, being a country boy and all, haha.
