Hi everyone, it might be a little early but I wanted to start a forum for SU's 2021 BSN applicants! I'm applying as a transfer student from a community college in California. I'm curious about everyone else's experience as a pre-nursing student and the schools they plan on applying to.
I've yet to complete my organic Chemistry course (my school doesn't offer one course with both organic and inorganic) and my pre-calculus course to satisfy the prerequisites. Right now I'm trying to find volunteer work, but with the pandemic, there's not much out there.
Feel free to share anything, I'm super curious about everyone's stats!
Each college calls the math 1010 differently! At South Seattle it's called "Applications of Math: Management, Life, and Social Science". The book I work out of literally says Precalculus and I have also encountered more advanced calculus problems, algebra, and statistics!! I feel like it's a hybrid math course of a bunch of different concepts. But as I mentioned, I think it's different at each college. And although SU doesn't have Ochem as a prereq, I'm pretty sure it's required for us to get our transfers degrees.
If anyone is confused, you should check in with your advisors!
So I just paid the deposit and I noticed on the "confirm your enrollment" page it says it's $500 but when I went to pay it was $200. Anyone else have this discrepancy?
I don't see anything in my spams. I 've only been invited to the housing and residents life zoom meeting (I live down town and plan to stay off campus)! Hopefully it'll come through soon! By chance did you get your packet in the mail? @Anhton
