Hi everyone, it might be a little early but I wanted to start a forum for SU's 2021 BSN applicants! I'm applying as a transfer student from a community college in California. I'm curious about everyone else's experience as a pre-nursing student and the schools they plan on applying to.
I've yet to complete my organic Chemistry course (my school doesn't offer one course with both organic and inorganic) and my pre-calculus course to satisfy the prerequisites. Right now I'm trying to find volunteer work, but with the pandemic, there's not much out there.
Feel free to share anything, I'm super curious about everyone's stats!
Congratulations to you for gaining entry to your program!
There are two approved ways of creating a special area for your cohort on this site.
One: create a facebook page. This link may be posted.
Two: create a "club" for your cohort by clicking on the Breakroom link in the yellow bar to the left of this page. Then click on “Create A New Club” in the green bar at the top of the page, and follow instructions.
References to other than these two avenues will be moved from view, to comply with the Terms of Service.
Thank you, and we wish you success in your program!
I made a FB group for us!

Let me know if this link doesn't work (I have never made one before)!
@breannaholman don’t lose hope! I know a few out of the selected pool that still don’t know if they will accept the offer. In addition, I also have been told that students can make it off the waitlist!! It totally happens. I’d research advice for when you get waitlisted and then contact your advisor! I believe that demonstrated interest can help you out!

Thank you! I appreciate that. I reached out to my admissions counselor to hopefully talk on the phone or do a zoom to get to know me better!
I’m waiting also. But just like April I don’t really have high hopes eitherrr LOL. I couldn’t even get into Saint Martins University for their BSN program. So I feel like I really lucked out with SU. I took my spot. I’m also waiting to hear back from PLU because they’re giving me a pretty decent merit scholarship honestly.
I committed to SU as well but I'm curious about if I'll make it to UW. SU was the first college I applied to so my statement was not as good as it was as UW (I'd say UW was my best). However, I'm sure there's a lot more people with stellar healthcare backgrounds and such that applied. I'm also not as confident I'll be admitted. But regardless, SU!
Has anyone paid their deposit for SU? I accepted the offer on the form but the deposit hasn't shown up in my billing yet. Lmk!

Hey, does anyone know which test on CLEP can meet the requirement of precal math1010? This is the last class I need to do for prerequisites, but I was told that I can test it out.
