Seattle University Fall 2022

Published

Hi everyone! It might seem early, but I wanted to start a forum for SU's 2022 BSN applicants ?

I'll be applying as a transfer and still need to finish my pre-calculus course to satisfy the prerequisites. I have a 3.76 GPA for my transfer degree, and almost 5,000 hours of hospital work as a CNA. I am a little bit nervous because I repeated some classes due to classes expiring and need to find some volunteer experience (I have none).

I'm interested in other's pre-nursing experiences and the schools they plan to apply to. Feel free to share about yourself during this stressful yet exciting time!

I regret that I didn't apply to more schools this year. At the end of the interview, one of the interviewers told me they want to make sure that SU is the right school for the applicants so they can succeed. I didn't think I did too well at the interview and maybe she was hinting that SU isn't for me. The wait is killing me and my thoughts are veering to the negative...

Hoping to hear some good news from you all soon. Mid-March isn't that far away.

Just out of curiosity, what makes you think you didn’t do well? I’m sure they didn’t say that because you did poorly.

I’m so sorry to hear, I know how you feel. I also feel like I didn’t showcase myself very well and all the questions they asked kept playing in my head and I wish I had answered it differently. However, I want you to be proud of yourself because out of 800-1000 applicants, you were invited to be interviewed and that was something. To be honest with you, this is my 2nd application to SU. I didn’t get invited for an interview on my 1st application but I looked at it in a positive way. I really didn’t put my heart and effort when I wrote my 1st essay so I made sure this time is better. I would be really sad if I couldn’t make it in. For now, I’m just trusting God and giving it all up to him. He knows our heart’s desire. I hope you get some peace and relaxation. Crossfingers!!

Mines the same.

That’s the checklist, when you first log into your BSN application portal it shows type, status, started, submitted.

I was reading through older comments about SU BSN admission and came across this.

Hi everyone!
I applied to the Fall 2022 SU BSN program as well! I had my interview in early February, and am *trying* to be patient while waiting for a possible acceptance letter. ??

Futurenursezzz mine still says submitted. I saw the older posts you’re referring to, so hopefully it’s just too early to tell. It looks like their’s were changed in mid March. Did yours change?

I agree! It has been so stressful! So hard not to think about it. I hope we all can connect when we get our acceptance letter. Gotta stay positive!

Hey everyone,

Wanted to check in on this form and congratulate everyone for completing your interviews! I was in your spot one year ago!! I got my acceptance letter on Friday, March 20th at 3pm. I checked the applicant portal and saw the letter before they sent me an email. Fingers crossed for you all!!
