Seattle University DNP 2020 Cohort (RN or APNI)

Updated:   Published

I didn't see any content here on Allnurses regarding the 2020 cohort for Seattle University's APNI-DNP program so I will start one here. Anyone else applying?

@rachel.leone and @Tropicalgal195 When did y'all interview? Mine was early (2/1) so that might have something to do with the timing. Hopefully good news is around the corner. Good luck!

Mine was on 2/1 as well! I hope we hear back soon.

@Jtmbrome7700 @Tropicalgal195 I interviewed Feb 7! I'll let you know as soon I hear regardless!

I got my acceptance for the APNI program yesterday morning via email. So excited to be a part of this year's cohort! I just joined the facebook group so I'm looking forward to meeting everyone else soon :)

@jmcheung75, congratulations! Which track?

@rachel.leoneFor the Adult Gero track

Congrats to everyone who have been accepted! Has anyone gotten rejected yet?

I just got my acceptance email for the APNI-FNP program!

I was just informed I am on the waitlist for the APNI-FNP track. It’s is disappointing for me but I am so excited for all of you who are accepted. I’m sure you will all do amazing and I hope to join you next year!

@katiemark hi Katie, did you accept to be put on waitlist?

Anyone for APNI-FNP placed on waitlist without interviewing? Or did you all interview and then land the waitlist?

I haven't heard a peep since I submitted the application. I'm obviously taking this one as a loss, which is a bummer but something I knew going into given you all are incredible--the competition is stiff!

A bit bummed by the complete lack of communication & transparency given how much we all put into this process, but it is what it is & I'm sure the program is badass nonetheless.

Yes I did. I want this so bad even though I know I won’t get it.

I didn’t interview either. I feel the same way as you.

Hello, I just received notification of being put on the waitlist as well, however I was not interviewed. I was rather surprised because with my experience at least, you don't get waitlisted without an interview. I am curious to know if anyone has heard or knows any information regarding the length of the waitlist and other details that might be useful or may have been discussed during the interview. Any further knowledge would really be appreciated. Thanks!
