Seattle University BSN (Transfer) Applicants 2014

Published

I didn't find any threads on Seattle University BSN for Fall 2014; just wanted to know who else is applying!

Just spoke to SU. The acceptance and denials were all sent out Friday.

Got my acceptance letter!!

I was accepted last year, and I have 3 small kids, and I live about an hour north of seattle. It has been do-able. I am not saying easy-but if you are committed you can do this. Talk with financial aid and see how they can help you! Congrats!

cweet, you have no idea how encouraging your comments are! I truly appreciate you taking the time to check in on all of us newbies! Thank you so much for your congratulations and help! :)

Congrats collegebound90!! May I ask did you get your letter just today?? Thank you!

Thanks Husky, Yes I received it today. My letter did have to go to North Carolina though. Stay positive though it all depends on the postal carrier and what time the post office actually receives the letter to be mailed out! Post office had flaws so keep thinking good thoughts Husky!!

For those that got in already, in your letters does it tell of the stuff you could be missing?

Congrats, collegebound90! Not sure if you even care now, but as to your question, I was still finishing my AA in pre-nursing (should have it done in a week or so) when I applied, but I did not have the math class prereq completed. I wanted to wait and see if I would get accepted before taking it.

brooke.phaganLPN - don't stress...they never asked for my winter quarter grades either. I finally emailed them in January and asked if they needed them (none of them were prerequisite classes), and they said I should send them over right away, which I did. I never had any contact with them other than that, so don't use their lack of contact with you as a negative point. I know it's nerve wrecking, but try, try, try to stay positive! :)

Mine just says the math requirement needs to be fulfilled and has all the general comment about needing to have documentation of completion and appropriate GPA and such. Did you already finish your transfer degree?

Thank you Justdance, congrats to you as well. I'm one class away from my AA in pre-nursing and its Chem2. I have more than enough credits to go in as junior but I was wondering if they would want me to complete the AA.

No but all of my preqs are completed. My didn't say any requirements specifically though so that is why I was wondering if it was in the letter itself.

Specializes in ICU.

Thanks for the update! Hopefully we'll both be hearing from them today.

Thanks justdance! I hope I hear today!
