Seattle University BSN applicants???

Published

Anyone waiting to hear back for the BSN transfer program at Seattle U to start Fall 2009?? I sure am...I'm going crazy!

I know we're not supposed to hear until April, but when I called to fix something on my application last month, I asked when to expect to hear back and she told me the beginning of March. I am driving myself crazy waiting for March!

Anyway, there are so many admissions topics on here, I figured I'd post one for SU.

Did anybody hear today? I live 5 blocks from the college so I thought I might get mine right away. But my boyfriend has the mail box key so I am going crazy waiting for him to get home.

I live in Shoreline and I haven't got my letter yet. I'm hoping it comes today, though I'll be in Everett and wont find out till tonight :(

I haven't received anything yet and I live 2 blocks from SU. Hopefully it comes today. So tired of waiting!

Hey future nursing students!

I live in Wallingford and have received my acceptance today!! It came in a big yellow envelope so it's not hard to miss among all the bills and ads :) Now to continue the waiting game for UW.

Hoping for good news for everybody else!

I'm in Arlington..nothing yet either :( Have a feeling they sent it out late. Hopefully I get it before saturday!

By the way, the letter was dated March 21 so don't worry!

Engine mind me asking what your gpa was?

Lalida, I had a 3.2 at the time I applied. Not the greatest but I have 300+ volunteer hours, and 2 jobs at the UWMC

Congratulations Engine. I didn't get anything today so I'm hoping for tomorrow I suppose. Argh... another day of waiting for the mailman. Are you going to go to UW if you get accepted?

Nice I had a 3.1 but I had a lot of volunteer hours too and my CNA. I know my essay was awesome so I'm crossing my fingers. Congrats though Engine (: My mail doesn't come until like 3pm ugh. that's the worst when you're waiting!

Its finally nice to see some GPAs that are similar to mine. I had a 3.3. I keep reading these threads for here and UW and people are like "I had a 3.9 or a 3.8" which really frustrates me hehe. I'm sure you didn't get a 4.0 or 3.8 in all those really fun classes like O chem :)

Thanks guys!

Those classes definitely were not fun! And seeing other people post their high GPAs always frustrated me too. But I really feel like nursing schools are looking to accept more well-rounded applicants than just good grades.

And to answer your question Zyix, I would choose to go to UW if I am accepted. I'm already a student there so it would be nice to finish my degree where it all began. Plus, it would be nicer to my bank account :)

Hoping for good news in your mailboxes today!
