Anyone waiting to hear back for the BSN transfer program at Seattle U to start Fall 2009?? I sure am...I'm going crazy!

I know we're not supposed to hear until April, but when I called to fix something on my application last month, I asked when to expect to hear back and she told me the beginning of March. I am driving myself crazy waiting for March!

Anyway, there are so many admissions topics on here, I figured I'd post one for SU.

Nothing yet. I'm thinking about calling and asking how close they are to being done with decisions, but I'm not sure if that looks bad or not. What do you think? I don't want to annoy them.

i would call... i just called Seattle U - applying for a post-bac in their BSN program and am VERY glad but also worried... Someone in their admissions office hadn't coded my application as "complete", even though it has been complete for weeks. Trying to get a hold of someone in the nursing program to be sure my app has made it to them...

Oh goodness! Good thing you called. What did you ask when you called...just if your application was complete or not? Now I am really nervous... I just want to know what you asked so I can ask them the same thing-

Did you ever get a letter saying that your application is complete with a Seattle U ID number in it?

Yup - I'd gotten a letter, etc - and thought everything was okay. I was just calling to see about the status of the applications and that got the whole thing rolling. I'm sure it's a rare, random thing... I didn't mean to make you paranoid! It just took me completely off guard.

Oh my gosh. I think I am going to call now... did they tell you that they will get it all straightened out for you?? Did they say how close to being done with decisions they are?

Honestly, they didn't tell me much about where they were in the process. They transferred me to someone's voicemail in the school, and i left a message about what happened, and am going to be sure to clear it up. Good luck...!

Ok so I just called and luckily my application is ok. The lady I spoke with told me that decisions are complete (!) but that she couldn't tell me over the phone, and that they sent the decisions to the SU admissions department to take a final look and then admissions will send letters out either next week or the week after.

I am SURE that they will figure something out for you. It's not too late for them to change the decisions if they decide that you deserve it more than somebody else that. If they decide you should be in I am sure they will just knock off the bottom person on the list! Good luck figuring everything out!!!! Let me know what happens.
