Well, I know it's early.
Anyone applying for 2015 start?!?
@ginger-99
I'm in the same boat as you but I'm waiting for CSULA and Seattle U as it is cheaper.
I would say to do a list of pros and cons across all programs: cost, degrees earned, cost of living, length of program, resources they offer
For example, MGH gives you a BSN and MSN and NP license, but doesn't give you the BSN until after you graduate so some people would rather choose a program where they can work part time with their BSN.
Feel free to PM me to be a sounding board! I'm still trying to figure out if MGH is for me and can't visit it before the deposit due date
I am still waiting to hear from Seattle too! Just want to thank everyone who has been posting because it has really settled my nerves knowing that something is happening on Seattle's end! Has anyone been accepted into the Midwifery program? I am not on Facebook so I have been unable to check those posts as well. If anyone can give me an update on that program and if anyone has been interviewed/accepted, I'd appreciate it so much!
@ginger_99 I applied for CNM as well and have not heard of anyone being admitted so far. I do have an interview scheduled for the 24th though! Have you had an interview yet?!
For CNM applicants who aren't on the Facebook page: I haven't seen anyone get admitted yet. Two people have said they had interviews on the first weekend, but neither of them have mentioned if they were offered admission yet. One other person on Facebook said they have an interview on the 24th, but that's all the action I've seen so far! I am a CNM applicant and haven't heard anything. I would love to know if the 24th is the last interview date, or if they are still planning on sending out interview invitations for the 28th. I am holding my breath anxiously! Congrats to all of those who have been offered admission and good luck to everyone interviewing soon!

Thanks! Isn't it weird how the programs work? I did not believe I was going to get into MGH at all & thought I had a better chance of getting into Seattle, yet here we are! It's funny how each school looks at very similar applicants extremely differently. Although I did not apply for psych at MGH I was accepted for Women's Health/Adult Gerontology but I know that psych is highly impacted at MGH since it is Top 10 I believe, but again, who knows!
GL w/ UCSF. I am from Bay Area & thought about applying, but didn't have everything ready so was going to apply if I didn't get in anywhere during my first round of apps. Did you happen to apply to USF as well? I'm anxiously waiting for them!
@snailszy
I'm in the exact same boat as you. Can't visit before the due date & I most likely won't have heard from other schools about decisions either. Weighing big pros and cons between schools, the biggest options I'm debating are price & location & degrees earned from it. MGH is SO expensive! However, you get more with it so that's part of the reason why. I crunched the numbers and had to double take at them however. LMK what you end up deciding & I'll keep you posted too!
@HopeJoy
I have not heard from Seattle U at all. Major congrats on your interview! LMK how it goes. I have been obsessively checking my email pretty much all month long waiting to hear from them. Little bit relieving to hear that no one that is active on FB group or on here has been accepted for CNM as im hoping that means all spots are open. Guess we will see! Good luck with your interview & hope you kill it! (I'm sure you will!)
It looks like CNM invites are rolling out today for the 28th. Two more people on fbook posted that they got invites for that day. Their last names were f and g and the 2 already interveiwed were b and c I beleive... so I'm thinking they're going alphebetically. Well more hoping since my last name is S and I've heard nothing so far. This wait is excruciating and I'm starting to regret only applying to SU. Any other CNM hopefuls hear any more news or get invites?

@ginger_99 - If it's any consolation, I got waitlisted at MGH but got into Seattle U five days after my interview, so I'm sure you're a viable candidate for Seattle U! I'm psych though, so maybe it's hard to compare, but MGH is competitive! I'm still (anxiously) waiting to hear from UCSF before making any decisions...
@holahawaii - two people. Both very warm and friendly.
