Well, I know it's early.
Anyone applying for 2015 start?!?
@snailszy I wish if anything that they could tell us our score in comparison to other people. Perhaps even letting us know what number on the wait list we're on? It's definitely taking the fun out of it a bit waiting for any kind of response.
@atki. That's great you were accepted! Huge congrats !! Definitely not easy to make it as far as you already have. I'm definitely hoping I can join you in this years cohort. First round is definitely on me if i get in!
I bet they want to evaluate all candidates before making final decisions. Only very few people have gotten in....my guess is that they are very strong candidates. I think its too early for them to determine if you are waitlisted or not....they still need to finish interviewing. Its a stressful process for sure....but we will find out soon enough.
I interviewed on Saturday, February 7, ... APNI Psych NP Track. I received word on Wednesday, February 11, that I had been accepted. I know they are interviewing more people on Saturday, February 21. I read either here on Allnurses or on the UNOFFICIAL FB page that in the past, they notified people as late as May that they were accepted. I know the waiting and "not knowing" is frustrating.
I interviewed on Saturday Feb 7th as well for Psych and was admitted the following Wednesday. I was surprised I'd hear back so quickly because they had originally told me end of February to early March.
@badabing, I had a 3.6 cumulative GPA, not great GRE scores at all (around 40-50%, although my writing score was around 90% I believe). However, I have a few years of experience in mental health, wrote a strong goal statement (I think?), and had a good interview. Best of luck to everyone! I'm not sure if I'll take the Seattle U offer yet or not so there may be an extra spot opening up. :) Hang in there!
@badabing ... Since I already have a master's degree, I was not required to submit GRE scores. I have no insider knowledge, but I really believe they are looking at the "whole package." I too was surprised to hear back so quickly after my interview. In fact, I was told during my interview that I would likely not hear back until first or second week of March.
@seattleite188 ... I did accept. Which track are you?
Hi All -
I am still waiting to hear from Seattle too! Just want to thank everyone who has been posting because it has really settled my nerves knowing that something is happening on Seattle's end! Has anyone been accepted into the Midwifery program? I am not on Facebook so I have been unable to check those posts as well. If anyone can give me an update on that program and if anyone has been interviewed/accepted, I'd appreciate it so much!
Also, I'm getting a bit anxious to hear since I have already accepted into one program (MGH in Boston) who needs to hear by March 11th on a decision, however I want to have all my options in front of me before I make a final decision on where to attend! Can anyone give me advice on what they are doing in these situations?
