I've been a reader of these message boards for some time and thought I'd finally start participating. I didn't see a thread for the SU APNI 2011 application process, so I thought that as the deadline is this week I would start a thread and see how everyone's process went. I'm interested in the primary care np track myself.

HI MSW530! I'm just curious what your status says now if you happen to know... Does it still say the same "review status" or does it say an "interview has been set-up, etc"? CONGRATS & GOOD LUCK to you! :)

Thank you! I just checked my admission status, and it hadn't changed. Still states that my application is ready to be reviewed by my intended program. This whole application process is quite confusing!

Hello, everyone, Im just joining! I also got an interview for the gero/adult track. I applied last year and got an interview and can tell u my app status didn't change til June last year so I wouldn't expect that to change. I don't think they keep up on that part but I also didn't get an interview til mid Feb last year so don't give up hope yet. Good luck everyone!!!

Thanks for the info, angeljs! I hope that we become classmates in June! I'll be interviewing for the AGNP track as well. I'm lucky that things worked out so I'll be able to interview in person. Do you recall what the interviews were like last year? I'm sure I'm not the only one who is curious about how they go. I hope your (and everyone else's) interviews go well and that everyone hears back about their interviews soon! Stay well, y'all. It's a stressful time, so make sure to take good care of yourselves!

Oh man! I would love to be classmates in June! I hope, I hope, I hope! So last year the interview was pretty basic. They asked questions like where do u see yourself in this field in the future, and what's your understanding of an NP, they'll also wanna be sure you wont be working, and they'll want SPECIFIC examples of when you have had trouble working in groups and possibly at work and how you dealt with that. Thats all I can really remember. Godd luck!

I have my interview at 4:30 (EST) tomorrow and I'm so excited! I'll let you know how it went...and if they ask any trick questions ;)

I still haven't heard anything. Has anyone received a denial letter yet? I'm thinking that might be my fate :(

My application status has been the same for the past week or so "Your admission decision has been mailed', but I haven't received anything in the mail yet. If the decision has been mailed, I should have already received it by now since I live in the Seattle area. It was a drawn out and confusing process last year and I guess they didn't change the process much this year. Not sure why they don't reject you by email if they are mailing out rejection letters. The news is the same regardless of how you receive it. I'll post again when and if I get the letter/email/whatever. Good luck to everyone with interviews/etc.

Interviewed a bit ago, and I think it went well :) She said we would hear back in a few weeks, so happy waiting!

I'm loosing it guys, help! Haven't heard anything yet. I live in Seattle and applied to AGNP. I think I have a good application. Some people have already got interviews, it worries me now even more. What happened to mine?! I called, but they don't answer.I think the latest interviews will come by feb. 12th at the latest. Anyone else in the same boat?
