Hi All,
I remember when I was applying to Seattle U's APNI (Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion) program a couple of years ago there was no information for me out there! So I wanted to circle back and answer any questions applicants or potential applicants might have. I finished the APNI portion last spring and now am in the first year of the primary care FNP/AGNP track.
Good luck to all.
Hello everyone!
I’m really late to this thread. There are many fellow APNI-FNP applicants on here! I received an invitation to interview on January 24th. Due to the winter snow, APNI-FNP and RN-FNP in-person interviews were rescheduled from 2/2 and 2/9 to 2/11, 2/12, and 2/14. Unfortunately, my rescheduled in-person interview changed to a phone interview due to another winter storm.
The interview did not go so well for me! I had terrible phone reception. I got the email about the admission deadline timeline today like everyone else.
I wanted to provide some answers to those that have been asking about the APNI-FNP review process.
Yes, interview invitations for the APNI-FNP track were sent late January and conducted early-mid of this month. That’s as far as I know. I don’t know much of their review process, so they could be sending out more invitations. *fingers crossed* I’ve read in previous forums that they have a “fluid” process. Again, I don’t know.
I’m not sure how the winter storm has impacted their timeline, so please remain hopeful (I know, way easier said than done).
Wishing peace of mind to all of you.

Thank you!!
I feel like they asked me some difficult questions. I went into the interview feeling fairly prepared and I was completely surprised by some on the questions they asked me.
Not very hopeful that I’ll get in because of it but still trying to remain positive!

I agree, I tried calling their office and received no information about what is going on. I applied to the midwifery-APNI track. I haven’t heard back either. I am getting very nervous and annoyed at the same time.
