Hi All,
I remember when I was applying to Seattle U's APNI (Advanced Practice Nursing Immersion) program a couple of years ago there was no information for me out there! So I wanted to circle back and answer any questions applicants or potential applicants might have. I finished the APNI portion last spring and now am in the first year of the primary care FNP/AGNP track.
Good luck to all.
Everyone I've interacted with at the school, which isn't really that many, have been very nice and helpful. The school itself is located next to several hospitals, including the states only Level 1 Trauma Center (Harborview). The campus isn't very large, but it is beautiful. There are lots of natural areas outside to sit or paths to walk. It is near downtown and is surrounded by lots of coffee shops, bars, and restaurants. Traffic in the area is crazy and parking is always a pain (for me at least). I work for the state department of health so have been across the street from the school for meetings a handful of times so I'm semi-familiar with the area.

That's so great to know; thanks! I'll only be able to visit campus if I get an interview. Oh did you hear anything about when they would give out interview invites this year?
They said pretty much the same thing as the website - that invites to interview would start going out late January/early February. Lots of time for us to wait anxiously!Where do you live now?
Yeah that's what I was thinking! Seattle has a really late interview notification date.
I live in the Chicago area!
