Seattle U - APNI 2012

Published

Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).

I just spoke with someone in the graduate admissions office and she said they aren't finished inviting people to interview. She said the nursing office has the list, so she didn't know my status, but I think that is good news. Everyone should know one way or the other within the next few days. Still, this has been a hard past few weeks. Fingers crossed for us all.

Thanks for calling in Overtone. Hoping for good news!

thanks for the positive support Calinca! i feel i have a pretty unique story so hoping that will carry me through! it's the uncertainty of this week that is stressful! yikes!

Just got the kiss off email. I'm out. Best of luck to those of you still in the hunt.

I got it too :(. Good luck everyone.

Adios Seattle. Good luck to all!

Much love to you guys who didn't get invited to interview. I thought I'd post that I am unlikely to interview for Seattle U, as I think my heart is set on another program. Hopefully that will open up a psych spot for someone else!

I got the generic rejection letter, too (FNP).

Oh no :( I'm so sorry it didn't happen but at least it will free you guys to go somewhere else as I know many were already accepted at other programs.Good luck with everything, I'm sure you all will find great things at SU next year or at another school this year. Keep fighting!

Devastated...got the rejection. After working hard for the last year or so, going to school after work-I feel pretty bad, worse than I had anticipated. I thought I was finally going to get going on my chosen path...guess I need to work another year. I am just getting old, and I wish I could have at least interviewed. When one door closes, another opens...right?! I hope someday I will understand, but right now I am mourning a loss.

For any current students out there- my sister will be doing a lecture for the 2nd year FNP students on derm in a few weeks. She was my inspiration for applying -she is really great :)

I am sorry to hear that too. Good luck with everything to those looking to new things! myelin, I am glad to see you have found your niche ...even if it is at another program ;-) good luck to you as well!

luluj - I totally agree with you when one door closes another opens! Keep that chin up....and totally cool that your sis will be doing that lecture for students!
