Seattle U - APNI 2012

Published

Anyone already applying at Seattle U? Which track? I haven't finished my pre-req's, so I am probably not too competitive this year, but I am going to apply anyway. I am applying for the nurse-midwife track and my background is Microbiology (UW).

Mine came at 3:30 Pacific.

CNM track here (:

Congrats to all of you who received interview offers today! I also applied for FNP and haven't heard anything yet. Fingers and toes crossed....

Hello everyone. Congrats to all those who have been accepted. I'm wondering, what email address did the invite cOme from? Thanks (:

Whoops I posted the above message in the wrong forum... Another program I applied to has sent out acceptances as well!

FNP candidates, hang in there, you'll probably receive the invitations tomorrow.

Thank you everyone for posting these updates! I haven't heard anything yet and am nervous! I also applied to FNP- it sounds like no FNP applicants have received interviews yet, right? Please post when you do. Waiting is so hard, hopefully we will hear soon.

For those of you who have already received interviews- how soon are they scheduled? Do they give you one date and time, or do they give you multiple options? This is so exciting, we're getting closer to making this dream a reality!

The email said " You will be contacted later next week about the specifics and to arrange for a time to interview either in late February or early March." Good luck!

So for those currently in the program, can you please remind me of the kinds of questions they ask during the interview? Thanks (:

So it sounds like we won't find out if we are in the program until mid-March then.

I'm not in the program, obvi, but I spoke with someone today and she said they were your standard HR questions: tell about a time you were challenged, what are your strengths/weaknesses, etc.

I would really appreciate if the students could remember some of the questions too. I have very little experience interviewing in the United States so I would appreciate any help that you can give in this regard.
