Seattle U APNI Fall 2023

Published

Hi everyone! I am cece

I didn’t see a thread for Seattle U APNI program so I decided to make one! I wanted to talk to all of the future student.

I definitely did bad in the interview. Did anyone feel the same? I'm wondering how many got invite to interview and how many they're selecting.

While I didn't think I did terrible on the interview, some of the questions threw me a bit off. They really wanted you to emphasize how the DNP portion of the program align with your goal. I believe the entire class is around 70 ish students (all specialties combined).

I interviewed last year and felt terrible about it. But when I spoke to Oz about reapplying, she said I was at the top of the wait-list, it's just that no one declined their acceptance last year in PMHNP, so don't be too discouraged!

From the info session, FNP accepts 25-30 while the other three accept 10-15 but they told me during the interview that they're decreasing it a bit this year to ensure clinical placement in the coming years, though that might just be PMHNP

Fingers crossed! I'm sure you have a significantly higher chance since this is your second time applying!

I got in. I wish you all the best

That's so exciting! What's the process for accepting like?

It was really easy but expensive.

Congratulations! Did you get an email or phone call or check your status on the application?

I got an email saying there has been a change to my status on the application along the link.

Congratulations! I'm still waiting for an update to my application status. Did you reach out to them to get an earlier decision update? My understanding is that final decisions are posted 2/20 or early March.

Also, how do you guys check for the status on your application? My application page just shows, from top to bottom: Application Checklist, Upload Materials, Verify Address, and Recent Activities. Would the decision be displayed under "Recent Activities"?

Thanks!
