  1. Hi y'all, I'm in the psych APNI cohort that got in last year! I applied for 2022 and got wait listed. I talked to the admissions and they told me I was at the top of the wait-list but no one dropped out so I didn't get in. Then they really helped me improve my application and I got in last year. For the 2023 cohort, we only had 6 spots for psych and people did come off the wait-list in May to join.
  2. Thanks for starting a group! Can you post the link? It doesn't come up on my search results
  3. Has anyone started a FB group for admitted students yet?
  4. I interviewed last year and felt terrible about it. But when I spoke to Oz about reapplying, she said I was at the top of the wait-list, it's just that no one declined their acceptance last year in PMHNP, so don't be too discouraged! From the info session, FNP accepts 25-30 while the other three accept 10-15 but they told me during the interview that they're decreasing it a bit this year to ensure clinical placement in the coming years, though that might just be PMHNP
  5. I applied to APNI PMHNP! From my understanding of the previous year's discussions, each track has a slightly different timeline. But generally they spend February in a committee deciding and then admissions offers and waitlists are sent out over the course of the first two weeks of March
  6. I think most people here are APNI applicants, I did say PMHNP in mind bc that is the track I applied for, but I am applying for the APNI PMHNP program
  7. LOL I got the invite 20mins after posting this! I did notice there were considerably less choices for interview times for me this year than last year. I wonder if it's bc I submitted my application much later this time around.
  8. I'm reapplying to PMHNP since I got waitlisted last year. This time last year I already received an invite for interview so I'm a little concerned that I haven't yet.
  9. Could I get that list of possible interview questions? I believe that was one of my weak points as well. I just requested my application to be moved as well, does it really take two months for it to be moved? I spoke to the admissions counselor and they said I would need my recommendations resubmitted, but I'm really hoping that's not the case.
  10. @CalQu I'd love to connect and ask you about how the reapplying process went for you!
  11. I'm still waitlisted but I'm a Seattle local. Living in SLU is out the question for most people since it's so costly, but affordable housing can be found in the university district, some parts of capital hill, and apartment/renovated houses in Queen Anne. Mind you, that's only with roommates, you won't be able to get any apartment for 1000 by yourself. The most affordable option like others said is living outside of the city and commuting which isn't too bad since we have a great transportation system here.
  12. Congratulations!! What specialty did you get into?
  13. Hello all, I've got my PMHNP interview this weekend and I've already heard back from my back up school so fingers crossed!
  14. I spoke to some alumni from the AE-MSN program before applying. One said they were 14th on the Leads waiting list 3 or 4 years ago and they got in so
  15. I asked the person who interviewed me how to improve for the next app cycle if we got denied, and they said to email (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) bc she's the one who puts all the data into an algorithm that creates a score or something like that. I'd contact her after decisions are done and see if you could set up a meeting
