Congrats to everyone who got a position! I didn’t get an interview this time but am hoping to apply again and would love some advice from those who got interviews. What do you think made you stand out on paper? Awards, certifications, experience, etc.? Thanks guys!

I'd like to know the same! I'm applying to both the next operating room cohort and residency cohort. Id love any tips about the applications or interviews!
How did they do the interviews with covid? were they all virtual?

I had my practicum in a NICU and front desk experience at an out-patient peds developmental clinic (for my interview I used a lot of examples about dealing with parents and providing family centered care, so even though my job wasn't direct patient care, I think they valued the experience anyways). It was just one interview and it was virtual :).

Congratulations to everyone who received an offer!
I imagine you're all ramping up to get started. ?
I'm applying to the May cohort, and I would love to know what to expect for the first weeks/months as it relates to scheduling. Are any of you aware of your shifts/class day schedules, etc.? Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!
Congrats to everyone who got a position!! I graduate in May and I'm planning to apply to the OR and critical care residencies. I really hope to get to connect with some of you if I get a position!

Hi everyone! I will be applying for either the August or October cohort. I am currently a medical assistant at a pediatrician's office and will be doing my practicum in pediatrics. I'm hoping to get a position in the cancer care unit and I have a 3.7 GPA. Do you think I have a good chance of getting offered a position? Any advice is GREATLY appreciated! (:
