I want to say it usually takes about 1 1/2 to 2 years to complete depends on your pace. They expect for you to be working as an RN while in the program. You have to have your license by the time you start and there are also some pre-reqs such as stats, o-chem, language... Similar to how it is to get into the general RN program.
I have a BUNCH of questions...Do you know what their curriculum is like? How often are classes during the week? How often are clinicals? Do they allow you to take 1 class at a time? Was there an interview process? and..language requirement? Thanks in advanced!!
Hey! Sorry I can't answer all of your questions. I have to meet with them sometime this summer to set up schedules and discuss the whole program. The only thing she told me is that you can go full time and finish in a year and a half or part time and finish in about three years. There was no interview process. The only language requirement is the one you have to take in order to get accepted to the university and I had only taken one college spanish course. I think it's partially online and partially in class. After I meet up with them over this summer I will give you more info.
Hi guys,
If anyone can answer my questions that would be so much appreciated!
I just applied to SDSU for fall 2012, but I'm planning to apply to their Spring 2013 nursing program. I have yet to take my TEAS, but I'm pretty much done with all the prereqs except 1 which i plan to take fall 2012 semester (if that is i get into sdsu).
When should I sign up to take the TEAS test? And since I applied to other schools, should I wait until I find out what shcool i get into before taking the TEAS at their school?

Hey,
I just wanted to see if anyone else out there applied to this program. I'm getting anxious to hear if I was accepted.
