Good luck everybody! I really hope that you all get in. This is a really stressful time in our academic careers, so let's use this thread to comfort each other and to answer each others questions about the admissions process. And at one point or another, celebrate our admission in the SON. Thank you very much!

@ twobucktin- I'm going on the 13th of August. My parents want to go as well and they offer the parent orientation that day.

My NSO is on August 9th. I'm really looking forward to eventually meeting you all.

Hi Coriander!

This is odd, I will be in second sem Nursing student at state and I would like to ask, what books you use in for pharmacology for -------? I really would like to study ahead! thanks!

Hi! Congrats on going into 2nd semester. For Pharm, I'm not sure as to what books will be needed. They seem to change the books every few semesters, so I don't want to tell you one and she'll order another.

Usually the book list for the bookstore goes up early, so you would be able to get your books a bit early.

If you want to get started now, check online for a Pharmacology book, like Pharmacology made incredibly easy, etc. :)

I'm so excited to meet everyone too.

Has any wait listed heard from SDSU yet?

Also, is there any helpful hints you can share for next semester? i really need to be ahead since I barely pass the class!! I want to redeem my self! I tried to contact my mentor but she won't reply... but thanks for replying!

Hello!

I tried to send you a message but i can't. anyway, thank you for the email!

I also want to know if theres a book that i can read or review for med surge 2? I didn't expect nursing school iss full of memorization and i took it for granted that i could review physiology before i got in...

I am part of CNSA. Is there anyone I can talk to if i need some help? I know everyone is busy when school starts...

I really appreciate replying to me!!!

Has anyone gotten in with points lower than 70? Just curious..

applied to Spring with 67 points :/

I got in with 74 points if I remember correctly.

Hi everyone, I have a few questions before deciding on National or SDSU nursing. I have to make a decision by September due to the two nursing schools requiring different pre-req's. Did anyone get into the SDSU program with 71 points or lower? Also, am I right in that I wouldn't have to finish my math and english as well as have 60 transferrable units until end of Spring 2013 if applying for FAll 2013? Just wanted to make sure that after micro and speech this summer that all I would need by Jan 31st is organic chemistry...Thank you so much
