Hi everyone, and congratulations on your acceptances!

I have been happily answering questions for the Fall '11 group, and will be glad to help any of you with concerns. I'm currently in my 4th semester at SDSU.

Congrats again. :)

Hi and congratulations to everyone that got in! I am from the Fall 2011 cohort. Unfortunately I had to drop the program due to a family emergency. Good luck to everyone!

Hi Coriander,

While us Spring '12 students are waiting to start in January, do you suggest we do/read/study anything to prepare/stay ahead of the game? Your advice would be very appriciated! :)

Hello!

What I would really suggest is getting lots of relaxation, fun, and sleep under your belt. :)

That being said, if there is anything you're not great on, such as physiology, you might want to skim through that textbook. Or find drug calculations online to practice with.

The first semester consists of nursing fundamentals, pathophysiology, assessment skills, and informatics. Reading is something that I can't be sure on for you, because I don't know if they'll be keeping the same textbooks for all classes. Pathophys does have a lot of physiology, though.

I'm totally excited to meet all of you in January. Please feel free to fire questions at me. If I don't know the answer, I can find out, or direct you.

Congratulations, again!
