Scrubs!!

Published

I hope this picture posts correctly if it doesn't then idk lol. Anyhow I got fitted for my scrubs Monday and saying I'm so happy they are not white is a major understatement!! They are some type of "performance" scrub and are way comfy!!

I think your scrubs look fab!!!! Wish my school had as much style as yours. Our scrubs are royal blue top and bottom with a white lab coat. Yuck!

Yep I'm at WKU!!!

that is awesome! I am at WKU as well!! I can't reply back to your private message because I haven't posted enough I think!

I love the scrubs! I wish my school would switch to similar scrubs although I think I would rather have navy blue than black. They have black pants and a white scrub top right now.

I just got accepted to Hopkinsville Community College and we will wear blue I think...Orientation is on July 9th so I should find out shortly but I was wondering if you were at WKU because my sister graduated from there and that's exactly what hers looked like!!

Did she like their program? I don't know anyone who has been in it so I really dont have any "reviews" haha.

She did!!! She said it is very in depth and she passed her boards first time!!! Good luck with your journey I'm sure it will be great!!

I'm a student at WKU in their ADN program as well. I can tell you as a male, the guys hate these scrubs and there's already an alternative being planned for us. A small percentage of the females in our group like the scrubs and they do in fact look good (we get complimented all the time on the colors) they feel awful. It feels like your wearing wet sweatpants all day long. They're supposed to be "performance" scrubs and help keep you cool, yeah, not happening. I sweated ferociously every day I've worn mine. Everybody is stoked that we are getting an alternative (especially those of us further in the program) since we'll be needing more than one pair. Regardless of scrub preference, good luck in WKU's ADN program.

We have to wear white, I never wear white pants. I'm worried about how big my bottom/thighs will look and what to wear underneath. I know its a shallow thing to be whining about. I would give anything to be able to wear any other color scrubs.

In the BSN program we had the option of buying the performance and the Cherokee uniforms they offer. I bought both because I already knew that with the performance ones I would probably be sweating like crazy in mine during clinicals because of the fabric! I'm glad I bought the Cherokee uniforms as well now that you have said that! I'm glad they are giving the ADN program an alternative!

Wow, I had no idea WKU's BSN program had the alternate option choice already in place. That means the alternative for the ADN program shouldn't be too difficult to come up with I suppose.

Do ALL the hospitals in Transylvania use that color, or just Count Dracula's?

:cheeky:

LOL that is funny! But I still like her scrubs! I think ours are royal blue top and bottoms with white lab coat. I think for me I prefer the basic look.
