Scrubs that survive thick thighs

Nurses Uniform/Gear

I was getting Cherokee scrubs, they fit well and were standing up well, I've been careful to order the same ones over and over.

However the thighs are going out way too quickly now! They start pilling and within a couple shifts I have holes in the thighs.

Help!

Not grey’s anatomy. I’ve now thrown all of those pants away

Funny, my Cherokee workwear held up extremely well. I bought some kind active med couture with a big comfy yoga waistband, and while I think they’ll hold up, they make a just annoying enough swishing noise when I walk that I probably won’t get them again.

I swear by the Koi cotton scrubs. But Jockey and Cherokee are now making some poly-blend scrubs that are pretty comfy and have worn well.

WonderWink and Med Couture have held up well for me.

I agree with miikki; Grey's Anatomy are terrible in this department. I switched from Grey's to Healing Hands about a year ago and haven't had any pilling in the thighs (vs. Grey's, which started to pill in a few weeks).

I usually go with Cherokee infinity or workwear or FIGS in any drawstring style so that I can size up and not lose my pants.

I really appreciate this thread. Thank you.

I get annoyed when my favorite pants of any sort get thigh rubbing holes before the rest wears out.

I'm still a student in a part-time second degree program, but we have lab one evening a week followed by back to back clinicals Sat/Sun this summer and fall (and a few other semesters coming up), so was thinking about adding a pair of scrub pants to ease the laundry-doing pressure on those crazy weeks.

Oh I don't miss this problem! Luckily I work in a part of the hospital that provides hospital laundered scrubs.

I think Cherokee was the best option when I did have to buy my own uniform items...however, that was about 7-8 years ago.

The Jaanuu I've been wearing for a year still has the seams intact. They changed their material since then though, I havent tried the new ones out yet. I just don't like that the color fades. Idk about all colors, but the royal blue fades.

I just want to post a warning about Affinity Medwear scrubs. They were all over my instagram, so I ordered a set. The royal blue is off from my organization's royal blue, so I had to return. They are basically trying to drag out the return until I forget about it, I think. At first they told me no returns allowed, although the website clearly states returns possible within 30 days. Then they sent me dead hyperlinks to generate return labels, and have now stopped replying to email. No phone number or address is listed on the site. I had to open a BBB claim, and then I found out they have multiple other BBB claims against them. Ugh.

Benefit are super stretchy and comfortable. I love mine. And they match my organization's royal blue perfectly.
