What type of unit will these be worn in?
If it's in the OR or a procedural area, does the policy permit non-hospital supplied surgical caps?
If not, then don't spend the money. (Lots of people I work with were, shall we say quite vocally, quite unhappy about the money they had spent on cloth hats they could no longer wear when our policy was updated to completely forbid them).
If so, what are the requirements? You'll need to meet those, which may in fact limit your choices.
Everyone is different and each company cuts has different fit. I would order a couple different styles and try them out. Right now I am personally using a super wide cloth headband with a ponytail and disposable bouffant. Then I can just remove the bouffant when going home and my hair doesn't scare children after I leave.
I agree with an above poster about liking my cap/hair off my neck. I get really hot with all my garb on. This is my favorite style:

I am in the market to buy scrub caps and was wondering the consensus on which are better. There are the bouffant types and the pony tail types. I have decently long think hair and always wear it up. Which is the most comfortable to wear?
