Hi everyone!!
Just wanted to start a thread. I applied to SCRIPPS new grad RN program. Wanting to see if anyone has applied?
I had an interview last week and unfortunately was not selected for the position. Does anyone know if they will still consider me for other units or my 2nd choice hospital? Or do I just need to wait until the next time it opens. It sucks not knowing why I was not selected. I wonder if they went with an internal candidate or someone who already has their license or BSN because I am an ADN barely about to graduate. If anyone does get a job offer please let us know what you recommend. I kind of wanted to ask the manager for feedback but IDK if that’s appropriate or if they will even respond. I’m pretty devastated because this job would have been perfect for me, but I guess things happen for a reason.
@POBerry I interviewed for CV, there were maybe 8-9 questions, a couple were repeated from the demand interview which I thought was weird. They were pretty basic behavior type questions, nothing clinical.
Thanks for the reply, I know they usually give preference to internal candidates, but good to know I may have better chances once I actually have my license.

If you really want to work at Scripps and you don’t have your BSN apply for a PCA position and then apply internal for the next rotation, that will go a long way. If not you may need to start somewhere outside the hospital, get some experience and apply later. I have heard it is very difficult to get a new grad position as an ADN outside applicant but I don’t know how true that is.

Hi, if you don't mind me asking.. how long after your interview until you heard back about a decision?
Hi I Applied to the Scripps New Grad March/June Cohort before I got my RN license. I reapplied again for August/October since I still have less than 6 months experience. For those of you asking, Scripps doesn't send out an official rejection letter until a month and a half after the self-identify& forwarded to hiring manager email, so in this case most likely mid-June. Also they were doing some last minute interviews even a month later initial emails were sent out. All depends on the individual location so there's still time!

I still haven’t heard anything since the video interview. Anyone else?
