SCRIPPS New Grad RN Residency (August/October 2022)

I applied! I was confused about what units were available because I thought there would be more.

I also applied! It sounds like a lot of the hospitals are switching to this application style for the new grad programs. Like they have a general application then filter it out later. Sharp's application was similar.

I also applied to Sharp and Scripps. In my Scripps Modern Hire it says "submitted" and in Taleo it says "completed," so just have to wait until May for a potential interview. Did you do extra video information for Sharp? Or what did you do after the initial application?

For Sharp, a recruiter reached out to me and asked what my top 3 preferences were. Then I was offered an interview maybe a few weeks after. No video information. When I said they were similar I was talking mainly about the application that was filled out. I guess the video interviews for scripps is technically part of the application but I don't think everyone gets the ModernHire interview email depending on what was inputed in the application.

A few more questions-- are you applying from a California school? Do you already have your license? And did you list anyone you know who works at Sharp? Thank you!

Yes, BSN from a California school. Don't have my license yet but graduate next month. I work at Sharp so I'm an internal applicant!

Oh phew, I saw that they reached out to another internal applicant as well. I'm applying with my BSN from out of state, and I'm obviously external, so that gives me hope that they're just taking their time!

Hi, I’m in the same boat as you! Also applied from out of state. I did the on-demand interview and my status says in process. Hoping to hear from them soon! I also applied to UCSD
