  1. I didn’t have any clinical questions! All behavioral. I feel like they were really looking for the right personalities to fit on the unit rather than skill set. Sharp really emphasizes culture so I think it’s important to answer your questions as someone who can benefit the team (communication, team work, leadership, etc.)
  2. Why Sharp and that particular unit. A difficult patient encounter. How I took initiative in a situation that was a safety issue. Valuable criticism that I received in the past. Describe a time when I experienced a “win” (that one was so random imo LOL). Describe a stressful situation and the steps I took afterwards. Honestly it was a lot of scenario based questions so have lots of past situations ready. It was like rapid fire questions. 3 interviewers and they all took turns asking questions. Interview was no more than 30 min.
  3. No I haven’t. I also got a verbal offer but I was told I wouldn’t hear anything for a while and that I would get more info a month or so before the start of the program.
  4. No idea! That’s just what I was offered for memorial
  5. 48 base. $2 differential for BSN. $4 differential for over night!
  6. Just got a verbal offer for memorial! I’m acute care!! So excited ?
  7. Does anyone have any insight on how many new grads they hire on a unit? I know this varies greatly but just wondering if anyone has any exclusive info about this lolol
  8. I just checked and mine still says "completed"
  9. @kvt1013 I have an interview with memorial and it’s in person! They didn’t email you with interview details?
  10. I was reading the post that mentioned March and I think that person is applying to for a different start date. There was an application that opened around March for a June start date. This thread is for the August/October start date. I dunno why that person mentioned that information here LOL but it was confusing. As far as the Modern Hire video interview, I got sent a link to do it literally right after applying. Did you not get an email for it immediately?
  11. I got the email for the top three choices the same time as you. I got an email from one of the acute care units at Memorial last week to schedule an interview.
  12. Yes, BSN from a California school. Don't have my license yet but graduate next month. I work at Sharp so I'm an internal applicant!
  13. For Sharp, a recruiter reached out to me and asked what my top 3 preferences were. Then I was offered an interview maybe a few weeks after. No video information. When I said they were similar I was talking mainly about the application that was filled out. I guess the video interviews for scripps is technically part of the application but I don't think everyone gets the ModernHire interview email depending on what was inputed in the application.
  14. I also applied! It sounds like a lot of the hospitals are switching to this application style for the new grad programs. Like they have a general application then filter it out later. Sharp's application was similar.
  15. I got an email from Memorial from Acute Care and it had me RSVP before a certain time on a certain date but that time and date had already passed by the time I received the email. I RSVP'd anyway and was emailed by the next day. I know that they've been having issues with Workday (new system) so that could be why? Also, check your spam or other folders. For some reason I would get the emails in another folder. I'm also internal
