Hi everyone!!
Just wanted to start a thread. I applied to SCRIPPS new grad RN program. Wanting to see if anyone has applied?

No, mine stills say under consideration, but I am certain that they are all done with offers. ? Two of my friends got their offers more than two weeks ago. However, I've heard that we will get our rejection letters about a month later.
Hi all,
I received a call from the recruiter this morning inviting me for an interview. I am assuming some folks have declined as I am probably a 2nd choice or so. Anyway, I wanted to reach to those who interviewed for the position to share their insights on what the interview process looks like. Additionally, after the interview, how long did you wait before an offer was made? Finally, does anyone know what the nursing residency process is like with Scripps and what the starting pay is? Just curious...
Thanks everyone!

Hi friend,
It depends on the unit on how the interview would go. But I believe your interview will be panel interview with the manager and couple supervisors or clinical mentors on that unit, or possibly just the manager (but mainly manager and supervisors or mentors). They usually just ask typical behavioral questions for interview and nothing clinical so just prepare for general why nursing, why that unit, why Scripps, conflicts with another co-worker, etc. Clinical questions can come up but I haven't heard any Scripps asking clinical questions for new grad interviews, however, better to be prepared just in case! I think starting pay for new grads is $46 and $48 (BSN). New grad program typically runs close to 9 months with some education classes you take off the floor while you're still working FT.

The interview I had back in May was for the Oct. cohort.

the way that they literally teased me with a live interview and then never followed through,,,, I just dug through my spam, archive, deleted, and inbox. nothing. Recieved that 'congrats! wait for next steps!!' email and then nothing. emailed interal hire person and the training program email in early June to no answer. Im kinda really upset bc I already work at scripps and was hoping to stay there but?? I guess not LOL wow.
@IceBreaker1301 did you apply internally? I heard a lot of internal candidates get hired at scripps easily from previous applications period. I got an interview but unfortunately I never got an offer. I do not have any healthcare experience though.
