Hi Everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the October Residency 2020. The site says applications will open 6/22. Job posting number is not up yet and am not sure if they will actually open the application as listed because of the pandemic. I would love to hear from those who will be applying and keep the convo going on how the process is going for everyone!

So it’s 8 questions and yeah you get unlimited times to record.

I submitted my app on 06/23 as an external hire and received an email on Friday instructing me to compete the on demand video interview within 72 hours.

Has anyone here gotten the on-demand email that applied Tele/DOU? Seems like people getting the email mostly chose other specialities?

I am also internal and applied for Mercy Tele/DOU and did not receive the on demand request. I applied on the 21st, probably around 1830.

I have a few cohort mates that got a rejection letter. One was external and chose surgical at encinitas/la jolla and the other was internal and chose mercy/ CV. Has anyone heard of anyone else getting rejected? My status still says "submission received" but also says "Accepting job submissions" under job status. Does anyone's say anything differently?

Mine also says submission received. I'm assuming that means they haven't looked at it yet? ?

I applied to the Tele/DOU as an external and chose Mercy and La Jolla for my preferred locations. I completed the on demand videos last night as they were due by this morning. They could be screening them and depending on spots, send out more invites.
