Scripps New Grad Residency 2020 October

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the October Residency 2020. The site says applications will open 6/22. Job posting number is not up yet and am not sure if they will actually open the application as listed because of the pandemic. I would love to hear from those who will be applying and keep the convo going on how the process is going for everyone!

I'm an external candidate! I'm not sure if my offer was for north or south. I was so excited during the phone call I didn't even ask. How did you find out your offer was for 2 north?

I didn’t get my first choice (la Jolla) but I got my 2nd choice (scripps mercy)! Heard back last Thursday ?

I was wondering if we don't get accepted, will we receive an email saying we didn't get accepted? Or do we just figure we didn't get accepted if we didn't receive the video interview?

For people who received job offers, were you able to gather what they were looking for in applicants? Do you feel that they were more likely to accept those who were internal applicants or did clinical there? I will be eventually applying and coming from out of state.. Thanks!
