Scripps New Grad Residency 2020 October

Hi Everyone!

I wanted to start a thread for those applying to the October Residency 2020. The site says applications will open 6/22. Job posting number is not up yet and am not sure if they will actually open the application as listed because of the pandemic. I would love to hear from those who will be applying and keep the convo going on how the process is going for everyone!

Update - just got a call from the manager who said they decided to hire someone with 1 yr RN experience (so I guess it's not a true new grad position??) but that he would refer me to managers of other floors because I was his second choice. For this unit they only had one position open.

I'm an external applicant and interviewed for Chula Vista.

Questions were typical behavioral questions (tell me about a time you had a difficult pt, conflict with a coworker/manager, criticism you did not agree with, difficult decision you had to make, compliment from pt, etc)

Has anyone completed a “live” virtual interview with Scripps? I interviewed Thursday and totally forgot to ask when we would hear back and how many positions are open (At the La Jolla location). Does anyone happen to know?

I did! I totally forgot to ask how many positions also, but they said we would hear back by the end of next week. They are finishing interviews on Monday.

I got a call from ------------------ today and received an offer! For Encinitas

Yes mines with --------------------- for La Jolla.. I interviewed on the DEU unit
