Scripps New Grad Residency January 2024

Starting a thread for those submitting in September for the Scripps new grad program that starts in January 2024.

I JUST Got the email around 645 pm. I think it's super early given that that there are so many units and floors

My friends that got hired at La Jolla the previous cycle all had theirs via zoom. I think that's just their preferred method.

Yes it was an email by (MODERATOR EDIT OF NAME) so schedule an in person interview. The only date available was oct 31st

How long were peoples interview? Mine felt surprisingly short.. less than 15 minutes.

I am also in the same boat. Not sure what it means but I checked my application as well so not sure why it still says 'under review'.

Hello! Has anyone received any further communication regarding Scripps Green Med/Surg 4 North? The last communication I have is an email from Scripps Career Center stating my application was forwarded to "the hiring leader for consideration" and that was on 10/16.
 

P.s. This is the first time I'm applying to new grad programs so not at all sure how long this process takes. Thanks in advance for any and all information ? good luck to everyone!

I read on previous cohorts that they usually don't send out those emails until January (the beginning of the month that the program begins)

Same here. Mine was like exactly 15 minutes

My understanding from the ED supervisor is that interviews are scheduled every 30 min. So they try to keep it to 15 min +\- so that they have time to discuss the candidate, make notes, and then prepare for the next candidate and read their resume.
