Hello! Just adding to this thread, I also applied to the January 2024 New Grad Program and immediately got the video interview questions through Modern Hire upon submission. I am now patiently waiting to hear anything further. Good luck to everyone!

It was very basic questions, like "why Scripps" and "tell me a time you went above and beyond for a patient". I think theres 6 or 8 questions? They're all prerecorded questions and you get unlimited attempts to record/rerecord when creating your responses.

Hi everyone! I accepted the position for the DEU and am now looking for a place to live in San Diego. I have visited only a few times, and was wondering if anyone here is looking for a roommate or knows someone who is. Please feel free to reply or send me a message, any advice about what neighborhoods are good would also be greatly appreciated. Thanks!!

My interview at green is scheduled for 1 hour.

Hi Redivy,

As I have been reading through threads, I noticed that you received interview offers from a few different new grad programs in Socal. I was wondering if you would be willing to share any tips or advice on how to improve resumes, cover letters, and applications to become a more competitive applicant. I can also provide my email if that's easier.

Thank you in advance,

-Mariah

Would some one be willing to share the starting pay for New Grads at Scripps?

The job listing says the pay range minimum is $57 / hr. I'm assuming that's what a new grad would start at.

Hi Redivy,
Just graduated, it would be wonderful if you can do the same with me ? . Would it be possible to get a copy of your submitted resume or cover letter to compare it with mine? I can provide my email as well.

New grads start at $57, with night pay differential putting you at around $64/hr. Theres an almost $3/hr raise after finishing the new grad program (40 wks long). That will put you at about $60/hr days, $67/nights. Yearly raises after that.

Hi,

I applied for the NG March 2024, I was wondering how long was the wait for another interview or follow up after the on-demand video interview via Scripps website?

They list the dates for interviews on their website. IDK if the link will work but here it is: https://www.scripps.org/sparkle-assets/documents/new-grad-RN-training-program-calendar.pdf

It looks like they will start giving interviews after new years. They invited me for an interview like a day or two after the interview period opened for last NG programs (the one that starts this January).

Just got an email that I was accepted to the DEU!! It was an email to schedule a phone call during the week to talk about and review the offer. Good luck to everyone!

If you don't mind, what kind of questions did they ask you during your interview?
